What we're deliberately doing differently

Higher trust barriers make these cities harder — and that is exactly why they're underserved. Sevakk.io starts where the need is sharpest instead of treating small cities as a later phase.

Founder story
Built on a smartphone, in Pune
I'm Omkar Padwal, 18, a student founder from Pune, Maharashtra. I started Sevakk.io because I kept seeing the same two problems from opposite sides: friends my age with real skills and no dependable way to earn from them, and families nearby who needed help but had no way to know who to trust.
I had no funding, no team and no laptop. So I built the first version of the platform on a smartphone — learning the product, the design and the technology as I went. It's slower that way, but it forced every decision to be honest: if it doesn't work on the cheapest phone on a weak network, it doesn't work at all.
Sevakk.io is still pre-launch. What exists today is a working product, a clear model, and early feedback from people in Pune who told me plainly what was missing. The next step is a small, verified group of providers in one city — done properly before it's done anywhere else.
